
“The Law by Which We Live”
A round table on the topic “The Law by Which We Live” was held among the employees of our center. The main goal of this event was to explain the key provisions of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to reveal the essence of the reforms in the system of state power.
During the round table, participants discussed in detail the fundamental changes that have taken place in the system of state power. In particular, the issues of transitioning from a bicameral Parliament to a unicameral representative body – the Kurultai, as well as granting the Kurultai the authority to exercise legislative power, were comprehensively examined. These changes were assessed as an important step towards the modernization of the public administration system.
The employees who attended the event expressed their views and positions regarding the new constitutional reforms and shared their thoughts on civic responsibility within the framework of the law. During the discussion, the importance of respect for the law and the legal literacy of each employee was especially emphasized.
Following the round table, all participants unanimously came to a common conclusion: knowledge of the law and respect for it are the main foundation of a stable and lawful society. Such events contribute to improving the legal literacy of employees and strengthening their civic position.
