Excess Waste: How We Searched for Environmental Solutions
Excess waste is one of the global problems of our time. The volume of garbage continues to grow every day, making the issue of efficient waste management increasingly urgent. The habit of thoughtless disposal can no longer remain the norm — a conscious approach and new ways of handling waste are essential.
To draw attention to this problem and find practical solutions, our center hosted the Eco-Style competition and exhibition. The event brought participants together around a common idea: how to turn what usually ends up in landfills into useful and even profitable items.
The children presented a wide variety of creative ideas. Among them were decorations made from plastic bottles and colorful bottle caps, original toys made from plastic containers and packaging, as well as many other useful items made from waste that is typically thrown away. Each team showcased its own unique projects, demonstrating that unwanted things can be given a second life.
Participants showed how certain types of waste can not only be recycled but also reused with maximum benefit. The competition proved that a creative approach and a responsible attitude toward the environment allow us to solve global problems through local actions.
The Eco-Style exhibition became more than just a contest — it turned into a genuine platform for exchanging experiences and ideas. We thank all participants for their active stance, their concern for the environment, and their readiness to change the world for the better, starting with small steps.
